I’ve just returned from the Castello di Pretoria in Umbria, Italy with Winslow Art. I had the amazing pleasure of painting the gorgeous shimmery olive trees right below the castle. Join me and I will show you step by step how I set up to paint these beautiful trees. Follow along with me from start to finish as I describe my process and create a magical little painting.

Carol Maguire holds a Bachelor’s in Art History from Fairfield University and the Sorbonne, she has furthered her studies at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, the Barnes Foundation and Fleisher Memorial. Her passion results in painterly works saturated with color and joie de vivre. Inspired by a love for color, textiles and gardening, her work focuses on objects that surround her daily life.
