Historically, many artists, from Michelangelo to Matisse, Cezanne and Bonnard, have painted scenes looking from the inside out, a process which essentially combines two paintings in one and rewards the viewer with a “you-are-there” experience. In this 4-week class, Carol Maguire will share insights into her creative process while guiding you through techniques and exercises for painting the still life in the window, looking from the inside out. Class will include demonstrations, hands-on feedback and lots of personal attention. Work in oils or acrylics. Carol will work in oils. All levels.
