Using expressive brushwork and a finely honed sense of color, award-winning landscape painter Bethanne Cople creates a powerful image with both visual depth and atmospheric beauty. In this 2-week mini class, she will share ways to capture nuanced moments in the landscape through tone, tools and techniques as you explore your own personal reactions to the subject matter.

Bethanne loves to paint juicy, expressive, passionate paintings and share everything she knows. Ask your questions! You’ll paint like a boss (prepare to squeeze out copious amounts of paint) and learn to keep your paintings fresh by analyzing and expressing the atmospheric effects of the day, not by trying to create a literal rendering of the scene. Prepare to have fun!
