Give yourself permission to loosen up and keep it fresh in this 4-week class with ALF. Join Anne-Lise as she shares ways for painting expressive florals in watercolors or oils to build strong intent and feeling and to create emotional content and expression. Working from direct observation, her focus for a finished painting is always on creating a looser and freer representation of the still life in front of her through mark making, lyricism, color, composition and shape. Additionally, Anne-Lise will share techniques for mixing the beautiful colors that she uses to translate and capture the moment in unusual ways in her paintings.

Each class with Anne-Lise offers the opportunity to expand your understanding of the painting process while pushing your understanding and skills to the next level.
