In this presentation, mixed media artist Ann Rosenthal will demonstrate how to make a pamphlet-stitch 8″ x 5″ sketchbook/journal. You can apply this method to bind larger formats. Your resulting handmade sketchbook can be used for Ann’s upcoming Visual Journaling class. If you would like to follow along, a supply list and instructions for preparing your materials prior to class are provided. Note that the book examples shown have gel-printed covers, which you are welcome to do in advance of the class.
