Is painting a glass vase an exercise in frustration? Join oil painter Amy Brnger as she demonstrates painting techniques with glass. Don’t be afraid of transparent surfaces: learn to approach them with confidence and exuberance! Amy will demonstrate painting a flower bouquet in a glass vase, and will also review how to set up your vase in a way that increases your ability to paint them successfully.

Amy Brnger, from Eliot, Maine, has painted still life, flowers, interiors and landscape for as long as she has been an artist. She enjoys painting flowers from her garden, interior views of her home, and forgotten, overlooked landscape views.

Amy attended the University of New Hampshire for painting and then earned degrees in counseling and adventure. She now works as a full time artist. Amy won an Elizabeth Greenshields award twice, and has completed public and private commissions. She is represented by galleries in Maine, New Hampshire, Cape Cod, and Virginia.  In addition to painting, she has a paperworks business and teaches painting workshops nationally, internationally and online. amybrnger.com
