Amis Balcomb – Simple Sketching Techniques (Recording) – Free!

Join Amis Balcomb for an hour of creative sketching using simple techniques and supplies. Working with a chunky water-soluble graphite crayon, waterproof ink pen, paper, paint brush, container of water and an optional watercolor paint set,  Amis will show you how to create spontaneous imagery, from landscapes and still-life objects, to hand-drawn fonts. She will also demonstrate how to use the full value range of darkest darks, darks, mid-tones, lights and highlights, organic lines and textured strokes. Feel free to watch or work along! If you would like to work along, choose your own compositions from your imagination or copy from images you like as an inspiration to make each composition your own.
