Explore how to better understand and improve color choices in your compositions. Topics include visual history examples, materials and pigments of color, use of palette choices, compositional problem solving and video demos by AL. Subjects include landscape, still life, portraits and interiors. As a forum for questions, the goal is to provide practical solutions to color choices in the design of your paintings.

Each week, painting projects will be assigned and critiqued by the instructor to provide practical applications to your work. Open to all media: oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor.
