Abby Ober – Line into Color: Not Revealing Everything (Online); Mondays, February 2-16, 2026

Create various light filled works by letting the pencil showing through your forms and leaving some white of the paper. Students will work from a still life set up and landscape images of their own. The goal is to create an airy and contemporary feel to your work, stepping away from the notion to fill in every bit of space.

Various works by artists such as Paul Cezanne, Berthe Morisot and John Marin will be shared during the class to inspire your practice.
