Join John Seed, art writer, curator and author of Disrupted Realism: Paintings for a Distracted World and award-winning artist Gage Opdenbrouw (one of the featured artists in Disrupted Realism), for a stimulating presentation and conversation.  Published in 2019, Disrupted Realism is “the first book to survey the works of contemporary painters who are challenging and reshaping the tradition of Realism.”

John Seed is well known for his blog contributions to the Huffington Post and Hyperallergic. His writing has appeared in American Art Collector, Arts of Asia, Art Ltd., Catamaran, Harvard Magazine and International Artist. 

 

 

 

Gage Opdenbrouw is an award-winning artist whose works have been featured in numerous exhibitions throughout the U.S. Among his many awards, he received First Prize in “Honoring the Legacy of David Park” at Santa Clara University in 2017.
