Winslow Art Center has cultivated a roster of some of the top contemporary artists to teach its travel workshops. Participation is limited to a small number, guaranteeing students one-on-one time with the instructor. Students gain valuable insight from daily demonstrations, critiques and hands on instruction.
Former and current workshop venues include castles, working farms, private villas, former monasteries, hunting lodges, historic palaces and private villas. These one-of-a-kind settings are perfect for an in-depth art immersion. Depending on the venue, participants can also enjoy horseback riding, cooking lessons, wine and olive oil tastings, truffle hunting, fly-fishing, hiking local trails and excursions to nearby points of interest. At the end of each day, artists and non-artists alike come together to enjoy gourmet meals, wine, lively conversations and more.
