There's something about bird nests and eggs that I find beautiful to look at and enjoyable to paint. Such interesting shapes and colors, and I like to ponder how all of nature's mamas love their young into being. The atmospheric perspective I chose for this piece was painted not from an actual nest sighting or photograph, I just used my imagination. Not my usual approach to painting, but it was fun to trust my brush to lead the way.
