This is a little dogwood flower from the Blue Mountains area of NSW Australia. I like the harmony of the limited palette and the light hitting the top petal. I drew it a few times before painting it and it's form changed and the flower face dipped as the days went by. I was happy I was able to paint it before it was gone.
