Tremendous. Am definitely going to try more active disruption! Thank you to Anne for sharing this and also to Martha for making these videos available to those of us who weren’t able to attend the event live. Much appreciated.
Have been smitten with Anne’s work since her first Art Chat with Winslow.
So good watching the paint go on and the colour mixing. Worth watching even if you’re not into the disruption, as most of the demo takes place before that is introduced. Anne has a lot to offer and I’m inspired to do a class with her.
Margaret, do the class with Anne. I’ve been in all of her classes and I have found that the marks you can make from disruption are some of the most interesting and can’t be made any other way. While my disruptions are still subtle, I still feel that Anne has pushed me to the next level. She is very good at analyzing ways to make your paintings better at whatever level of disruption you choose to do. Unfortunately, I will be on the road during her next class so won’t be able to attend but I will look for more classes with her in the future. If nothing else, go and have some fun.
Thank you so much Martha as you are most generous. I love Winslow art and the artists you feature and share with all us artists to see and enjoy and learn from.
