Join  Carol Maguire, known for her bold, colorful, confident paintings and her infectious joie de vivre, for a four-week class designed to deepen your painting practice through joyful repetition, risk-taking, and play.

This class is all about showing up, practicing, and moving forward.

Each week, Carol will present a thoughtfully arranged still life and guide you through the ins and outs of still life painting—composition, color relationships, pattern, light, and how to bring energy and personality into familiar objects. Every session includes a lengthy, in-depth demo, with plenty of opportunity to paint along with Carol and ask questions along the way.

Expect Carol’s signature supportive, encouraging mentorship as she helps you loosen up, trust your instincts, and take chances. You’ll receive imaginative, confidence-building homework assignments designed to spark curiosity, stretch your creative muscles, and keep your momentum going between classes.
