When you learn brush painting, you learn not only technique but also discipline. It takes practice, and that practice becomes a way to observe simplicity, spontaneity, and flexibility. I value how these qualities can enter daily life, bringing harmony and a graceful presence. From time to time, I return to ink painting to experience the weightlessness of flow.
This class is open to beginners and artists interested in exploring brushwork. I’ll cover basic materials, techniques, and the use of negative space, as well as how to set up a simple workspace at your kitchen table. The goal is to make ink painting a small daily practice that brings comfort and energy.
