In this course we will be exploring the work of the 20th Century Welsh painter, Kyffin Williams, with a focus on his sea and sky paintings.

We will not learn how to paint like Kyffin Williams but instead draw influence from his work. This will be a fused with Richard’s approach and style.
With lots of demos and painting time, the course will be an exploration into creating a simplified but evocative sea and sky scapes. Using a palette knife, discover techniques and tricks that will open up possibilities for your own practice.
From colour mixing, mark making, composition and creating atmosphere.
Great for both beginners and those with a little more practice.
Richard will be working in both Gouache and Oil. Participants can work in any paint medium, except watercolor.
