There’s no better way to enjoy the beauty of the season than to paint summer flowers! Patty Voje is back to teach a special one-session floral workshop. This workshop will meet for 2 1/2 hours, and you can join live or watch it later at your convenience. Patty will demonstrate brushwork specific to flowers to help you complete one floral still life. Along the way, you’ll learn how to use your materials, set up a simple still life, and build a quick underpainting to simplify your composition. Finally, Patty will give a full demonstration in the classic alla prima style of the final still life painting. All levels are welcome. Patty will be demonstrating in oil but feel free to work in the medium of your choice.
The class message board will be open two weeks after the class, plenty of time for Patty to post feedback on your painting. Take what you learn in this class and paint your garden all summer long!
