Using a loose sketchbook style, paint the vibrant colors of redrock, and other cliffs and canyons. We’ll begin with pencil sketches and loose washes, keeping some as sketches and developing others into landscape paintings. We’ll also use pen and wash techniques and watercolor pencils. Important questions will be addressed like: what makes a good subject? How to compose a landscape sketch? What to include and what to leave out?
