In this four-week class, we will explore different types of mark making techniques. The overall goal of this workshop is to create emotionally-driven, expressive paintings by infusing the fundamentals of paintings (drawing/design/shapes, color, value, edges) with very deliberate mark making timed to music. Traditional subtractive mediums will be explored depending on an individual’s interest (oil paint, acrylic paint, watercolor paint or gouache paint).
