In this class four-week class, we will be using different types of papers to explore different ways to use our pastels. Work primarily with UART paper, we will doing washes, incorporating mixed media (adding oils) and generally just playing with how these mediums behave together. This class will have lots of demos including; incorporating Alcohol Washes, Pumice Gel Mediums, Oil Paint, and Oil Pastel. This will be a great opportunity to try new things and keep to some of the fundamentals we know about color and value. Come with an open mind and be prepared to play!
