Our live online classes are taught via Zoom. Students have the opportunity to interact with the instructor and other participants, watch live demos and receive feedback and instruction. You will have access to a class chat forum where you can share work, comment and ask questions. Once you’ve enrolled, you’ll receive instructions about how to access the class.

To take this class, you need a microphone and camera enabled computer OR an IPad /smart tablet OR a smart phone (android or IOS) and a strong internet connection.

Explore the connection between the figure and the landscape in this 4-week class with Philadelphia-based contemporary artist Arcenio Martin Campos. Delve into the construction of form, and how it relates to a real or re-imagined landscapes . We will employ a wide variety of approaches, from the traditional, to the organic as well as the intuitive, with the final goal to build solid design and composition and work in a series. Added discussions will focus on narrative and imagination and the importance of how they correlate to drive and support an image to completion.

Arcenio Martin Campos studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. He has taught workshops in South Africa, Ireland, New Zealand and Spain. He is currently based in the Delaware Valley region, working in Philadelphia, and is dedicated to impressing upon every student his enthusiasm and drive with what the form presents and inspire those who strive to document the human condition.
