Our live online classes are taught via Zoom. Students have the opportunity to interact with the instructor and other participants, watch live demos and receive feedback and instruction. You will have access to a class chat forum where you can share work, comment and ask questions. Once you’ve enrolled, you’ll receive instructions about how to access the class.
Using plant materials as your reference, learn to capture the essence of foliage and spring flowers through simple quick techniques and portable materials. You will be guided in an intuitive approach to sketching using pen and ink and layered watercolor washes as you gather tips that can be applied to your everyday sketches. Each class will begin with fun warm-up exercises. In each session you will explore a different aspect of flora, from simple leaves to more complex flowers. All levels welcome.
