Take your botanical sketching to a new level no matter your experience. Capture the essence of foliage and beautiful summer flowers and with simple, quick techniques and portable materials to create accurate, but loose paintings.
Working from actual plant material that you provide you will be guided in an intuitive approach to sketching with pen and layering watercolor washes. Beginning with fun warm up exercises each session, we will explore a different aspect of flora – starting with simple leaves and building to more complex flowers. Nature can bring us hope, joy and renewal during times of uncertainty.
A simple supply list is available at registration. All levels welcome.
This class will not be recorded.
