In this 4-week online class, we will study gestures and drawing from the figure (virtually), and explore expressive color palettes through the use of Sharpie markers. Markers are an uncompromising media. Students will have a crash course in confidence-building through drawing and ideating with this medium.  Later in the sessions, we’ll incorporate water mediums and working with collage, to set up compelling color and composition studies. In this online workshop, we will talk about using color as an expression, exploring gestures and compositions that draw the viewers in.
