Joe Gyurcsak’s paintings transcend the techniques that were employed to create them and breathe the very light and atmosphere they were painted in. He likes to capture the fleeting moments of life and the sublime manifestations of light and color.

In 2006, Joe received national recognition for his paintings through a featured article in American Artist Magazine, entitled “Painting Interior Light.” Joe has held workshops throughout North America for over 25 years and has lectured and demonstrated at more than 160 major art schools and institutions.
