Our live online classes are taught via Zoom. Students have the opportunity to interact with the instructor and other participants, watch live demos and receive feedback and instruction. You will have access to a class chat forum on our website where you can share work, comment and ask questions. You will also have access to recordings of the class that will expire 30 days after the final day of the course.
To take this class, you need a microphone and camera enabled computer OR an iPad /smart tablet OR a smart phone (android or IOS) and a strong internet connection.

In this workshop you will tackle:
Each week’s class will contain demos and time for you to explore the new concepts in your own studio.
You will work from life using still life as your subject, but the lessons that you learn about color will transform your paintings in any subject, from landscape to portrait.
The workshop is suitable for oil and acrylic painters. Demonstrations will be in oil.
**This workshop is an extension of Ingrid’s Color and Shape workshop.
“Color and Shape” will be offered again in the spring and it’s recommended that you take it before taking “Going Deeper”.
Both workshops will be offered again in the future.
Ingrid Christensen is an award winning painter and instructor who specializes in figurative and still life oil painting. Influenced by French and Russian Impressionism, her work is an exploration of light, color and dynamic mark making.
A self-proclaimed “paint nerd”, Ingrid has written and featured in Winsor & Newton Masterclass videos, contributed articles to Artsy Magazine, and taught sold-out workshops in Canada and Mexico.
Ingrid lives in Calgary, Canada and has made her peace with snow.
