Join Chris Bennett ROI (Member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters) for this insightful discussion about the life and work of realist painter Euan Uglow. Bennett, who studied under Uglow at London’s Slade School, will look at the importance of Uglow’s work in the British and global art world, impart his understanding of what makes Uglow’s art unique, and share anecdotes about Uglow as a man, artist, and as a teacher. This one-and-a-half- hour presentation will include a Q and A session.

British painter Chris Bennett ROI (Member of the Royal Institute of Oil Painters) studied at the Slade School of Fine Art in the early ‘80s under Euan Uglow, Geoffrey Camp and Philip Sutton.  He has exhibited regularly at the Royal Academy and at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters at the Mall Galleries, London and is a member of both organizations. Bennett’s paintings are exhibited and sold in prestigious galleries around the UK.
