“Thanks to my artist mom, I understood how to mix primary colors into secondaries to get to just the color I wanted before I even learned my ABCs. And her nature-loving spirit permeated everything we enjoyed as a family. So, when I finally had the chance to pursue my own artistic leanings after leaving a corporate career, her influences flooded my senses and filled me with inspiration. My intention is to convey onto canvas the beauty I see all around me and bring the viewer to that place of serenity or appreciation or stimulation that motivated me to dip my brush into paint to capture its essence.”
