Our live online classes are taught via Zoom. Students have the opportunity to interact with the instructor and other participants, watch live demos and receive feedback and instruction. You will have access to a class chat forum on our website where you can share work, comment and ask questions. You will also have access to recordings of the class that will expire 30 days after the final day of the course.
To take this class, you need a microphone and camera enabled computer OR an iPad /smart tablet OR a smart phone (android or IOS) and a strong internet connection.

Gouache is an opaque watercolor medium that allows the artist to work from dark to light, making it a perfect addition to the oil painter’s artistic arsenal. Learn how to use this versatile medium as a means for creating preparatory field sketches or to produce fully realized paintings. Demonstrations, group critiques and individual personal instruction are included. All experience levels accepted.
Bernard Dellario earned a Bachelor’s degree from Kings College in Wilkes-Barre, PA with emphasis on finance and art history. He studied Art at the Art League School in Alexandria, Virginia and attended several workshops with nationally known artists. He has been a member of the Washington Society of Landscape Painters since 2003. Fondly known as WSLP, one of the oldest active artist organizations in the Washington area, Bernard currently serves as President. He teaches painting classes through several venues, has won national awards and exhibits throughout the Maryland Eastern Shore and Washington, DC region.
